Here's a little more about me...

I've always loved books. One of my favorite places to read when I was young was under the willow tree in our yard. I'd spread a blanket on the ground and sit with a stack of books, reading my favorites.

Fast forward twenty years. My love of books grew to include writing stories. After college and stints in advertising sales and newspaper reporting, I started writing fiction when my kids were born. Hundreds of thousands of words later, I've published two middle-grade novels and two sweet romance series. I have more ideas for books than I do years to write them, but I can't think of a life more ideal for me.

When I'm not writing, I love to spend time outdoors hiking, gardening, walking the dog, or just sitting on the deck with a book. I'm also a baseball fan (GO Chicago Cubs!), a backroads traveler, and an animal lover. Also, my sweet tooth has never met a cupcake or cookie it didn't like, especially if it includes vanilla icing. If I weren't a writer, I'd own a bakery.
